Rowan Jackson

Bio:

Rowan Jackson is a Lecturer in Planetary Health and Food Systems in the Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Systems, University of Edinburgh. His research focuses on long-term human-environment interactions in the North Atlantic, to understand cultural barriers and limits to adaptation when environments shift. He is particularly interested in social-ecological transitions between the Viking Age and Early Modern periods in Greenland and Iceland.
