Garðlag á Möðruvöllum í Eyjafirði - Fornleifarannsókn [0.22 MB]
The results are inconclusive as the boundary could not be dated and no obvious function was established. The boundary is at the upper edge of a natural depression an closes it off to one side. It could possibly be a part of a dam or it could be a part of en enclosure. Three addional test pits were dug close by. Two revealed no cultural deposits but charcoal fragments were found in the third one, later than tephra from 1300 and could point to charcoal production.
