ARCTIC ADVENTURE Learning Objectives Students take an educational sled dog tour through the Arctic visiting 11 station stops along the way. Sometimes the NPC guide teaches them lessons, other times embedded video shows them real Arctic lifestyles. In Minecraft gold and diamonds are the prize and now students can learn about the process to get these precious rocks in Minecraft! There is a learning journal and selfie camera that each student takes on their journey and an answer key for teachers. Teacher support website too! Guiding ideas What is the process for getting gold and diamonds from the Earth in real life? What does climate change look like in the Arctic? What careers exist in the Arctic? What are the foods like? Why is land so important in the Arctic and how are countries protecting their land rights with science and military? What is an igloo and how is one made?
