Miðaldastofa er vettvangur við Háskóla Íslands fyrir rannsóknir í miðaldafræðum og fyrir þverfræðilegt samstarf og verkefni sem varða málefni og miðlun miðaldafræða. Markmið Miðaldastofu er að leiða saman miðaldafræðinga úr mismunandi fræðigreinum, skipuleggja rannsóknaverkefni og eiga aðild að þeim, standa fyrir ráðstefnum og málstofum, stuðla að samstarfi við stofnanir innan og utan Háskóla Íslands og beita sér fyrir útgáfu fræðilegs efnis um miðaldir. English Translation: Miðaldastofa is a forum at the University of Iceland for research in medieval studies and for interdisciplinary cooperation and projects related to issues and communication of medieval studies. The aim of the Medieval Center is to bring together medieval scholars from different disciplines, organize and participate in research projects, organize conferences and seminars, promote cooperation with institutions inside and outside the University of Iceland, and advocate for the publication of academic material on the Middle Ages.
